I had a tooth removed yesterday.
It was stuck between my toes, leftover from the last time I had my foot in my mouth...
Well OK, actually it was a wisdom tooth, stuck in my mouth, top left.
And it was a terrible shock when the nurse grabbed my head with both hands as the dentist started to pull.
I mean, couldn't he chat up the nurse at some other point?
Is my white face, adorned with orange safety glasses, the most romantic place for that kind of thing?
Obviously so, for love starved dentists anyway - she seemed to be responding, but her beard made it hard for me to see if she was smiling.
Pulling experience over, I spent much of the day looking like a lopsided Marlon Brando's Don Coreleone, googling for pictures of horses, and sharpening my Butchers knives like Daniel Day Lewis' Bill "The Butcher" Cutting from "Gangs of New York".
Is this what they mean by a Hollywood smile?
Hmmm. I'm going to send that Dentist a message he can't refuse...
